The Dinosaurs Are Back!

Both of the girls have been pretty interested in dinosaurs lately. Bobby and I thought it would be fun to take a trip to L.A. for the day.  First stop, was the Natural History Museum.  Little did we know the museum was hosting a free day.  So we didn't pay a penny to see amazing things. The dinosaur display just opened in July.  Some of these bones date back 36 million years ago.  Crazy!

We walked through the spider display.  Huge spiders were busy spinning webs right above our heads.

For any of you who have a 4th or 5th grader, they have a wonderful exhibit on California History.  Chloe is extremely fond of Indians (it kind of started in Alaska) and she was so excited to take a picture in front of this wiki up.  For Christmas, she is hoping for Indian "stuff."

We made a pit stop at our favorite beef dip restaurant.  Then we went down to the toy district to buy junk for the school carnival.  We had a great day and it was fun to experience L.A.'s culture!
